Many people are surprised at just how many dogs live in the rectangle of W1T & W1W postcodes that make up Fitzrovia, but living right in the hustle and bustle of town has its advantages when Regents Park is basically your back garden! Come Monday though, bills have got to be paid and that means heading out to work. That’s where we come in! Monday is funday at Buddies as we welcome our friends back after the weekend to spend some quality time playing in the meadows with their mates!
Dogs have a wonderful life in the city, but its great to be able to give them time to really let off some steam. At Buddies, we have created the perfect doggy daycare for urban dogs. We have 16 acres of secure and private countryside right on the edge of London. A short chauffer driven van ride brings you to doggy paradise! Tractor tyres, sand pits, tree trunks, giant straw bales, balls toys and more make for a fun filled day in an adventure playground!
If you’re looking for a place for your new pup to spend their day- to have a lot of fun but also make some friends and grow and develop into happy and friendly adult dogs, hopefully Buddies is everything you could dream of and more! Depending on the breed of your pup, they will gradually move up into different groups as they grow so they continue to play with dogs of a similar size. This means if you have a large breed pup, they don’t accidentally become a bully while trying to play with teeny pups, and if you’re the proud owner of one of those teeny pups- your little one is safely away from the bigger, more boisterous guys!
Meet Daisy- our boarding manager and voice on the end of the phone
“Six years ago I decided I needed to follow my passion of working with dogs. So I quit my job and started looking after friends dogs and working for dog walking companies, until I finally came across Buddies. This felt like a dream come true, and I have never looked back! I have been with the company for almost 4 years now, and feel as though I have grown with the business; I have worked my way up over the years, and am now the Admin and Boarding manager. I am the person at the end of the phone if you ever call Buddies, and will also look after your dog whenever they come to stay. I live in a house in the country, surrounded by dogs and I’ve never been happier!”
Karen with Fergus
Fergus started going to Buddies as soon as he was old enough to socialise with other dogs and he absolutely loves it. The fact that he met so many different dogs while he was still a puppy has really helped his development. The team are such a find and Fergus seems to love them all, showing his affection to the driver who picks him and up and drops him off everyday with lots of care and attention. When I visited the the daycare, all the dogs look like they are having loads of fun with so much effort having been put into a doggy playground. I cannot find enough words to say how fantastic these guys are and if you need to leave your dog for the day they are in very safe and fun hands here.
